MUSTARD CREPE DRESS 1930's 1940's xs
Mustard rayon crepe dress, late-30's/early-40's era "Ellen Kaye Original". I LOVE the 'serrated' accents. Brasstone side metal zip closure, and buttons at the back of the neck. Nothing is wrong with the buttons at the back of the neck, but I couldn't button these myself since the bodice was so tight on me. :) As amazing as this presents, there are still flaws that will need to be addressed. I had this cleaned, and it greatly improved from how it came to me, but there are still spots on the lower front (picture 9). The hem is out in the back, the hem isn't damaged, just out. also, the inner seam of the sleeves is starting to open in a few spots, and will need to be re-sewn. Technically an easy fix, it's just right along the seam, but I've had this on my 'to do' fix pile for so long, and just haven't had the time to fix it. It's time to just sell it 'as-is' so someone can start enjoying it! Priced gently for issues, this could still certainly be used for a photoshoot as-is, as it really presents so well. The measurements seem like a S, but this might be better for an XS, as this will hang better if your body measures less than the measurements of the dress. Please compare the measurements below with a dress you have at home that fits well.
