BLACK SILK EDWARDIAN jacket blouse S M (B9)
Black silk Edwardian blouse! It's kind of like a jacket with a dickie. This is all attached, it's not separate pieces like it looks (picture 5). Leg o' mutton sleeves. The top layer is silk, and the underlayer is cotton. Hook/eye closures inside. This is still wearable, but needs a little TLC or re-work to make it sturdy. Makes an excellent stage/screen piece pretty much as-is, as it photographs very well, and looks fantastic from a distance. The areas with the worst time damage are shown, and they are in places somewhat easy to disguise in photos... or if this is used as a museum display, the flaws would not be noticeable as displayed. The black silk skirt shown is not part of an original set, it just happens to look great with it. :) The skirt is listed separately. Here are the flaws as pictured:
Picture 6- the back of the neck has shattering to the silk top layer, the cotton underlayer is fine
Picture 7- both underarms have shattering along the seams beneath. The seams themselves are intact, and the cotton lining is not damaged
Picture 9- I held the blouse up to the light to better show the shattering on the lower right, near the hem. This is the part that is worn tucked-in... a patch or even a cut-off/hem-up wouldn't show at all when worn.
Picture 10- a few breaks in the lace of the inset

ACTUAL GARMENT MEASUREMENTS
Shoulders: 13.75" seam to seam across top back, but 19" 'puff to puff'
Sleeves: 26.75"
Bust: 35"
Waist: 29" where it nips in (the inside layer is almost like a 'corset', it's more fitted than top layer)
Length: just a hair over 17"
