AMAZING PINTUCKED PETTICOAT skirt slip tatted lace M 32 waist
A stunning historical piece! Light cotton voile, with teeny sewn-in pleats, separated by panels of tatted lace. All cotton, ivory. The waist closes with 2 hook/eyes. When you see all of the detail, it's hard to believe this was an 'under thing', which would have for the most part been hidden! There is a handwritten tag inside that says "Brown". Overall FABULOUS condition for it's age! Picture 5 shows there are a couple of tiny spots of 'shattering', since the fabric is so fine. Even so, I would still say this seems strong enough for actually wearing (as opposed to something so delicate it's just for display... this is totally usable). There are also a few holes around the bottom ruffle, the part that would have probably hit the ground while she walked. But the hem is very clean. The whole thing is very clean! There are a couple of tiny speckle spots here and there that I will happily send you close-up pics if you'd like. This is in such good condition, it would be a shame to keep this hidden. Has been lovingly stored folded into tissue paper, never hung or exposed to sunlight. The waist measures 32", and it's 40.5" long. Check out my other listings, I love to combine shipping! I cannot mark international packages as 'gift', as that is customs fraud.
