1950's CHAMPAGNE SATIN DRESS embroidered flowers S xs 1960's (A6)
Heavyweight champagne satin dress, 1950's era. Tag says "David Hart Inc". Fitted on top, with super-full skirt. The skirt has embroidered flowers on it. Side zip closure. This is rather 'busty', I have that front inset part pinned in a bit in the pictures, because it really gaped on me. Please compare the measurements below with a dress you have that fits well. Overall great condition, there are a couple of specks here and there, they seem very 'surface', this hasn't been cleaned yet, so I think most would disappear with just a routine cleaning (a couple of the most noticeable are in picture 5). I noticed some seam stress at the apex both top and bottom of that inverted pleat on the back, totally still wearable as-is, but may in the future need a couple of stitches so it doesn't get worse… please convo me, I have close-ups. There used to be a tulle stiffener layer in the skirt, but it was quite torn, so I removed it, and it's really not missed. You could always just put a crinoline under this if you want to maximize fullness.
