Beautiful classic late 1940's/cusp of 1950's jacket! The tag style featuring the "Miron" logo is their early logo, circa 1948... I've seen a lot of Miron ads from 1951, and their company logo had changed by then. So this is pre-1951. The fabric is made of burgundy and navy wool fibers (picture 8), giving it an almost iridescent look. Looks anywhere from berry to merlot in different lights and angles. Strong structured shoulders. Fully lined, the lining looks faded in the back of the neck in picture 9... technically is it slightly faded, but it's not as noticeable as the picture, it's SO very subtle/minor. I honestly didn't even notice in UNTIL I was reviewing the pictures. And of course doesn't show when you wear this. The only flaw I noticed is a small moth hole at the middle of the upper back... it goes all the way through the midweight wool, but not the lining. So when you have this on, you really cannot see the hole, as it is backed in the same-color lining. All else is absolutely PRISTINE! NO underarm issues, NO stains. All original buttons present and strong, they are anchored with buttons on the backside of the placket for durability (picture 9). Quality Miron "Aristo Worsted" wool by Handmacher, originally purchased at an upscale ladies shop in Aberdeen, SD, USA. This fits like an XS. I wear a US 4, and can easily get into this jacket, but I have to face the reality that it is just too snug on me. Please compare the measurements below with a blazer you have at home that fits well. ACTUAL GARMENT MEASUREMENTS (no stretch) Shoulders: 14.25" Sleeves: 22.5" Bust: 34" Waist: 26.25" where it nips in Length: 19.75" Check out my other listings, I love to combine shipping!
